Endeavor Fund is finally home

Written by Sabine Demosthenes

MONTREAL – There is the famous appreciative saying: “Home is where the heart is.” On June 1st 2020, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, officially announced that The Endeavour Fund was now part of the Invictus Games Foundation and no longer part of the Royal Foundation.

This is such wonderful news because, it makes perfect sense for The Endeavour Fund to be officially under the umbrella of the Invictus Games family.

Why?

Their main goal is to work with a range of organizations to support the delivery of opportunities for those that have been injured in service to be part of a team again, by participating in various sports activities by participating in various sports activities and tackling different types of outdoor team adventures

All those challenges are part of the recovery of the wounded, injured, and sick soldiers and veterans. This foundation is helping rebuild the confidence and self-belief of the veterans.

Here is an official statement from Dominic Reid, CEO of the Invictus Games Foundation, about the merging of The Endeavour Fund with the Invictus Games Foundation:

The Endeavour Fund has been doing incredible things for many years and we believe that together, both organizations will have a positive and sustained impact on the recovery and rehabilitation journeys of many from around the world who have experienced injury or illness during service.

Prince Harry must be very happy about this merging and I’m pretty convinced the best is yet to come for The Endeavours Fund and the Invictus Games Foundation.
