To the lucky ones that will see Norah Jones tonight at the Place des Arts, I envy you.
Oh yes, I do!
This is how you kick out one of the greatest Festival in the world. I’m talking about the FIJM. The nine times Grammys winner will enchanted the Montreal crowd tonight.
It will be a hell of a show in this beautiful city I call home. From her debut album Come Away with Me to Day Breaks that I have the pleasure to listen to it on rotation on my Iphone.
Little Broken Hearts is still one of my favorite albums of all time. It was really different than her previous albums and I love her audacity that she shown in this album. Day Breaks is nice way to comeback to he Come Away with Me vibe.
Norah Jones have music into her blood and listening to her and watching playing piano and sometimes guitar, you just know she was made to be an incredible artist. Yes, she is the daughter of the great Ravi Shankar and her mother is Sue Jones but Norah Jones is her own woman.
She have her own style and I really like that she went to study Jazz Piano at the university and she got a degree with a major in Jazz piano. Beauty and Brain! If you have the chance to watch her tribute to Chris Cornell, please do. Oh wait, I will put the link to the video. It’s a really nice hommage to this great artist and really we do miss him with our broken hearts.

Tonight, I will play her albums and wishing I was at the PDA.
